Welcome to Rootza. Rootza is a search tool for www/internet searching while automatically eliminating commercial web sites. Go Rootza!
Rootza is a product of PhD Education and Innovation Research by Victoria Redfern who conceived, designed and developed this tool as her PhD project at the University of Canberra ACT Australia.
The aim of developing Rootza was to provide a tool programmed with subject/unit search terms, the 6 steps of information seeking and the 5 requirements necessary to cite papers in an academic document.
I wish you good and productive searching!

The Rootza site is powered by the Black Lion e-Business Infrastructure which was conceptualised and built by Navin Edwin. The e-Business Infrastructure is a secure and robust set of programs and modules that work together to build a dynamic website. In order to run Rootza's intelligent search functionality, a Google-search extension was custom-designed and added to the system.

Rootza subjects have been developed on education curricula and there are currently 10 subjects ready for use. Additonally, there are many more subjects coming.
Please note that because of the size of the databases and the ‘need for speed’, the search terms for some of the separate subjects/units listed below may be combined into a single database.
Go Rootza … and enjoy your journey.
Click on one of the above subjects to start or click on the green Rootza tab.
If one subject does not have what you want, try another as conceptually, some subjects/units are very closely related.
Because the aim of Rootza is to provide a more productive way to search on the www we intend to cover as many academic areas as we are able, if you would like any particular subjects/units added please contact us and we will see what we can do.
